Linda Kindle - Dressage
Linda was born in the central part of Holland, where she grew up with horses on the family owned and operated riding school. She started to ride at the age of six on New Forest Ponies. At the riding school she formally trained in dressage, jumping and driving. The riding school gave her the privilege of learning under some of Europe's top ranking instructors and horse trainers.
Upon immigrating to Washington in 1980, she continued to travel to Holland to expand her education as well as to import top-notch Friesans and Haflingers. Linda and her husband, Wes own and operate Okjen Farms, a breeding and training program for Friesans, Warmbloods and New Forest Ponies.
In 2002 Linda was awarded for her breeding accomplishments by the FPZV and her Friesian mare Alida received her Lifetime Achievement Award on her offspring.
In 2008 & 2009 Linda was awarded best and most accomplished business woman by Mountclair Who is Who.and Continental Who's Who.
